Amy went to the elementary school to teach them about Christmas in Russia. Before the communists took over, Russia was steeped in the tradition of Saint Nicolas. When the suppression of religion began, the communists substituted Dyed Morose (Grandfather Frost) bringing things for the New Year to replace Saint Nicolas and Christmas.
