Our Prayer Room

“Jesus Christ. Church.”
As we were preparing to build this house, we were in pretty stressful times. Annie and Emily were home and lots of stress came with that. It was exhausting. Amy told me that she wanted one room in the house where anyone could go to “get away from it all.” We turned one of the rooms into a “prayer room,” where anyone could get away from the bustle and noise to think, meditate or pray. There is no playing in the prayer room, and if someone is in there, they don’t get disturbed. Occasionally we have important family meetings or announcements in the prayer room. Though it doesn’t get used as much as it should, our prayer room is important to everyone in the family.
