All Terrain Fire Truck
All photos were shot without assistance by our son, Jack, who has Downs syndrome. He’s quite proud of his photo blog. Click on the picture to open it and read Jack’s comments along with the story. Leave him a comment while you’re there. Nothing makes him happier!
“That’s the fire truck in case someone gets hurt.”
The museum was almost all aircraft, but leave it to Jack to find a fire truck! This one was tucked back in a corner. He found it and needed a picture. Forget the SR71 spy plane; the fastest plane ever made, at over 2,000 miles per hour… We need to see the fire truck! I did get a picture of the SR71. That for me, was the highlight of the museum. But in the eyes of Down Syndrome, a red fire truck beats a black plane. A siren beats roaring jet engines. And something made to help people beats spying and making war to hurt people. I just love Jack and how he uses his condition of Down syndrome to teach us all things that we should already know. If you’re a Jack fan, leave him a comment, below. Thank you.
